Responsible for ensuring that the business unit meets its goals, aligns with the overall vision and mission of the organization, and delivers value to the customers and stakeholders.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Marketing or a related field. A Master’s Degree would be an asset

A minimum of Three (3) years in a Sales or Marketing environment with at least two (2) years at a senior management level

Or relevant combination of training and experience.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement strategic sales & marketing plans and forecasts to achieve corporate objectives for products and services.

2. Manage the annual sales and distribution plan and budget.

3. Manage the growth and development of the Divisions.

4. Ensure effective execution of key account plans and brand plans by Sales and/or Marketing teams.

5. Monitor and control the Division’s expenses ensuring optimum use of resources ensuring optimal use of resources that also generates optimum

profitability for the Division and in turn the Company.

6. Ensure the effective management of stock to avoid stock-outs and over-stocked situations.

7. Continually evaluate the Division’s portfolio, capitalize on new business opportunities, and relinquish unprofitable lines or brands.

8. Oversee and evaluate market research and adjust marketing strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions.

9. Execute the Cycle Planning Process and adjust forecasts as necessary.

10. Maintain control of the Division’s Accounts Receivable

11. Manage the Division’s Accounts Payable to capitalize on maximum credit terms from Principals.

12. Develop and maintain close contact with key customers to obtain feedback on their requirements

13. Maintain close contact with Principals to foster stronger ties and ensure long-term relationships

14. Oversee the JBMs, sales representatives, Merchandisers, and other staff under the respective Division(s) managed by you.

15. Manage the development to achieve Company goals and objectives.

16. Ensure the successful execution of the Company’s Performance Management System for the Division

17. Challenge and motivate staff to consistently achieve extraordinary results.

18. Communicate with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) regularly on all aspects of the operations of the Division.

19. Ensure continuous training and development of the Division’s staff to ensure they acquire the necessary skills for excellent job performance within
