The Cost controller will be responsible for managing the costs of all service expenditure of the company, mainly Food item related, while maintaining the efficiency of all operating procedures in the Warehouse within the scope of the budget allocations.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or another closely related field.

5+ Years' experience in a similar role or job function.

Experience in Management Accounting would be an Asset.

Responsibilities

·       Monitoring and updating cost estimates for projects to ensure that costs are within expected ranges

·       Reviewing expense reports to ensure that expenses are reasonable and appropriate for the circumstances

·       Coordinating with other departments such as human resources, payroll, accounting, and finance to ensure that all costs are accurately tracked

·       Conducting cost analyses to identify areas where costs can be reduced or eliminated altogether

·       Monitoring budgets to ensure that spending does not exceed approved levels

·       Collecting cost data from suppliers or subcontractors to track material costs

·       Preparing reports to management regarding costs and expenses

·       Preparing bid estimates for new projects or bids on existing projects

·       Managing supplier relationships to ensure that the company is receiving quality products at competitive prices

·       Support month-end processes, coordinate month-end accruals to Accounting, provide inventory valuation report

  • Occasionally visit offshore sites to assess inventory.

·       Support on a timely basis data management in different planning and reporting systems & tools

·       Weekly prepare cost accounting records, implementing cost control procedures

·       Ensure efficient communication with all key interfaces, other business partners

·       Maintain prices in the system, Food & Beverages (F&B), cleaning materials

·       Outlet Revenue

·       Manage the Human Resources in the F&B Control department in order to attract, retain and motivate the employees

·       Issues, on a daily basis, food cost reports, provides relevant information regarding unusual movements or results

·       Spot checks the outlets on a daily basis, during working hours
