JOB LOCATION
Peter’s Hall, East Bank Demerara
DESCRIPTION
We seek a detail-oriented and organized Finance Assistant to support our finance team in managing day-to-day financial operations. The Finance Assistant will perform various accounting and administrative tasks to ensure accurate financial records and efficient financial processes.

REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

1-3 years of experience in finance or accounting roles.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Responsibilities:

Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.

Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions.

Assist with month-end and year-end financial close processes.

Prepare financial reports and analysis as needed.

Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.

Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
