Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field, with at least five (5) years’ experience in maintenance management in a manufacturing environment.
  2. Strong technical knowledge of production machinery, utilities, and maintenance best practices.
  3. Leadership and team management skills, to motivate and guide a diverse maintenance team.
  4. Familiarity with safety regulations, environmental standards, and compliance requirements in a manufacturing setting.
  5. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  6. Proficiency in using CMMS software for maintenance planning, tracking, analysis, and reporting.
  7. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
  1. Develop and oversee the implementation of maintenance management strategies, utilizing the principles of total productive maintenance, to optimize the performance, uptime availability, reliability, and life cycle of production machinery and utilities.
  2. Plan and manage the implementation, accurate and up-to-date recording, and periodic analysis of maintenance activities, as determined based on equipment requirements, specifications, performance, maintenance schedules, engineering codes and best practices.
  3. Exercise oversight and control of the maintenance management team in executing all planned, preventive, and corrective maintenance activities, ensuring the computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) are updated on a real-time basis to track and document maintenance outcomes to meet key performance indicators (KPIs) to minimize equipment downtime and maximize availability, reliability, and performance.
  4. Ensure an effective system is in place and is followed for regular inspections of machines, identifying potential issues to prevent breakdowns, or otherwise to troubleshoot malfunctions and breakdowns, and implement proactive measures to address them, including coordinating with external vendors for spares and services as required for equipment repair, and preventive or corrective maintenance.
  5. Plan and manage the maintenance budget and the inventory of spares and equipment, ensuring timely availability and cost-effectiveness.
  6. Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to identify, plan, design, and implement equipment upgrades, modifications, replacements, and new installations based on analysis of equipment performance, downtime, or the capacity and capability needs of the production operations.
  7. Develop and enforce safety protocols for maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
  8. Train and mentor maintenance staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and skill development.
