We are seeking Skilled, Experienced & Qualified Electricians to join our construction and engineering department to work on various projects for our clients in Guyana. The ideal candidates will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial and residential settings. This role demands a high level of expertise, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work effectively in diverse settings.

Requirements

Proven experience as an electrician; experience in industrial or commercial electrical systems preferred.

Diploma or certification in electrical engineering, electrician apprenticeship, or a similar field.

Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines in Guyana.

Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Excellent manual dexterity, physical stamina, and the ability to lift heavy objects and work in varied conditions.

Good communication skills, with fluency in English.

Willingness to travel extensively across various sites in Guyana as needed.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and architectural drawings and electrical code specifications to determine wiring layouts.

Cut, assemble, and install electrical conduits and other electrical components.

Install, replace, and repair lighting fixtures and electrical control and distribution equipment, such as switches, relays, and circuit breaker panels.

Splice, join, and connect wire to fixtures and components to form circuits.

Test continuity of circuits using test equipment to ensure compatibility and safety of the system, following installation, replacement, or repair.

Troubleshoot and isolate faults in electrical and electronic systems and remove and replace faulty components.

Conduct preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance records.

Ensure compliance with all safety and building codes and regulations.

Provide exceptional customer service to clients by explaining issues, and repairs, and answering questions as needed.
