Job Description

We are seeking ten (10) experienced Construction foremen to oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion. As the on-site leader, you will coordinate operations and ensure that work is performed safely, on time, and within budget and quality specifications. The role requires flexibility to work across various sites and projects, demonstrating strong leadership and an ability to adapt to changing environments and challenges.

Requirements

A holder of a Technical Diploma or Certificate from a Technical Institute, such as GTI, GITC. BIT, etc. Proven experience as a construction foreman or in a similar supervisory role in construction or engineering projects, particularly within the oil and gas industry.

In-depth knowledge of construction operations and equipment, construction methods, and best practices.

Skilled in reading and interpreting construction-related documents such as blueprints and safety rules.

Strong leadership abilities with a firm grasp of managing a diverse workforce.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively deal with challenges and communicate with all levels of personnel and management.

Certification in construction safety, OSHA training, or similar is highly preferred.

Willingness to travel and work across various sites as required by project demands.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate on-site construction activities of crew members and subcontractors to ensure the project aligns with design specifications, safety standards, and regulatory compliance.

Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to properly align construction plans and activities.

Manage resources, including labour, equipment, and materials, to ensure efficient and effective project execution.

Maintain daily logs, documentation, and reports on personnel, activities, and operational issues, taking corrective actions as necessary.

Conduct regular safety inspections and enforce strict safety regulations and standards.

Train and mentor construction workers and staff, providing guidance and feedback to promote their professional development.

Liaise with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure cohesive project progression.

Troubleshoot issues that arise on-site, providing practical solutions to maintain project timelines and efficiency.

Ensure workers adhere to all safety regulations, PPE, and the company's ISO 9001 QMS, ISO OSHMS, and ISO 37001 ABMS standards, requirements and procedures.
