Description

Responsible for operating company trucks to transport goods, materials, and equipment safely and efficiently between sites and designated locations.

Responsibilities

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Operate Canter trucks in compliance with traffic laws and company safety regulations.

• Transport materials, supplies, and equipment to and from worksites as directed.

• Ensure loads are properly secured and delivered on time.

• Perform routine vehicle checks and report mechanical issues promptly.

• Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the vehicle.

• Complete delivery logs and submit required documentation.

• Assist with loading and unloading when necessary.

• Follow instructions from supervisors and coordinate with site staff for deliveries.

Requirements

Desired Qualifications & Skills:

• Valid driver’s licence for the appropriate class of vehicle.

• At least 1–2 years’ experience driving commercial/light trucks.

• Knowledge of road safety and defensive driving practices.

• Ability to handle physical tasks such as loading/unloading.

• Good communication and punctuality.
