APPLICATION FOR THE POSITION of an Able body seman/Painter/Roustabout

I, Van Bowling, am writing to make an application for any of the above mentioned positions or any other entry level positions currently available in your company.

I am a qualified ordinary sailor/rigger with approximately one (5) year experience. For past three year I have been stationed on American Flag and Polish Vessels. During my tenure on these vessels I was able to gain valuable experience which has helped me to perfect my craft.

I would a like to assure you, that I am very hard working young man, who is open and willing to embark on any and all training exercises which will better equip me for the any of the positions I now seek, as well as those which would qualify me for upward mobility in your corporation/industry. Should I be considered for any of the positions I seek, I would endeavor to give of my best and work towards the continued success of the company.
