will oversee construction activities on site to ensure that work is carried out to the required standards, specifications, and quality. The role requires strong technical knowledge and practical experience, ideally with an engineering technician background, to support effective monitoring and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and monitor construction works to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

• Report on progress, workmanship, and any deviations from approved plans.

• Verify that materials used meet required standards and are properly stored and handled.

• Ensure contractors and workers adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations.

• Maintain accurate daily site records, including time sheets, activities, and incidents.

• Liaise with engineers, supervisors, and project managers to resolve technical issues.

• Provide independent assessments of work quality and highlight potential risks or delays.

• Support the company’s commitment to safety, efficiency, and accountability across all projects.

Requirements

• Diploma/Certificate in Civil Engineering or Construction Technology (Engineering Technician background required).

• Proven experience in site supervision, inspection, or quality control.

• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety standards.

• Excellent communication and reporting skills.

• Ability to work independently and maintain impartial judgment.
